Full Stack React Developer

The Challenge:

We’re looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build transformative applications from vision to production-ready system. This role is more than just coding, we need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. On our team, you’ll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices, domain driven design, and n-tier. Using React and Java technologies and Agile lifecycle development, you’ll build and sustain vital applications for the Veterans Administration. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience as a React Software Developer or Software Engineer 

• 5+ years of experience with ReactJS, including React JSP 

• 3+ years of experience with Linux, Java, JavaScript, Java Beans, JMS, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, CSS, DHTML, HTML, or XML 

• Experience with using JIRA and Confluence 

• Experience with CI/CD tools, including DevOps

• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications 

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience in the Federal Government, Veterans Affairs, or Healthcare IT sectors 

• Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs, including SOAP, REST, or RPC

• Knowledge of HyperScience 

• Knowledge of 508 compliance requirements 

• Knowledge of Agile frameworks

• SAFe certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
