Service Continuity and Exercises and Testing Analyst

Key Role:

Apply expertise in emergency management, contingency planning, and continuity of operation engagements. Develop, test, exercise, analyze, and evaluate existing or proposed emergency plans or procedures. Leverage knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, guidelines issued by DHS, FEMA, EPA, and OSHA, and directives, including Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs) related to emergency preparedness, infrastructure protection, and physical security at a level sufficient for the area-wide implementation of emergency preparedness policies, programs, and procedures. Coordinate actions with postal management to meet All-Hazards emergency planning and assists with the planning and testing of CISO COOP plans in accordance with USPS requirements. Review and validate business continuity plans and processes in coordination with CISO stakeholders, including the development of After-Action Reports (AAR), Corrective Action Plans (CAP), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Align business strategy activities to Resilience Management Model (RMM) standards in support of the USPS CISO mission.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with Business Continuity (BC) planning, processes, and activities

-Knowledge of Incident and Business Service continuity program development and best practices

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 2+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with emergency preparedness, continuity, and contingency planning.

-Experience with management

-Experience with FEMA, including ICS 100, 200, 300, 700, or 800 and IC 120 or 139 a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

-Public Trust clearance

-DRII or Federal Continuity Certification, including ABCP, CBCP, or MBCP a plus

-Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)
