Human Performance Subject Matter Expert, Senior

Key Role: 

Use observation, hypothesis testing, measurement, experiment, simulations, and thought experiments to cumulatively provide greater knowledge and understanding in the field of health science. Provide hands on laboratory and field support to Science and Technology clientele. Provide work leadership to junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with human performance, modeling, and clothing biophysics thrust areas, as required for chemical and biological protection technology-based efforts
  • Experience in assisting scientists and investigators with oversight and review of human performance projects, providing physiologic modeling advice, and assisting with planning and outreach into the scientific community to support science and technology programs
  • Experience with the analysis of cause-and-effects relationships
  • Experience with modeling tools
  • Experience with conducting trade-space analysis pertaining to thermal and chemical performance
  • Experience with accounting for how Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) protective gear equates to actual soldier performance
  • Experience with the analysis of human performance studies
  • Experience with identifying missing elements and areas of opportunity related to physiologic modeling efforts that are not currently under consideration
  • Secret clearance required
  • BS degree in Health and Human Performance
