Commercial Cybersecurity Account Support and Inside Sales Specialist

Key Role:

Support the identification and sale of Cybersecurity consulting services, including the conceptualization, design, and implementation of secure technical solutions. Engage with the team to support the relationship development and sales strategy in the biopharmaceutical and specialty chemicals industry. Work with existing clients to build relationships and identify opportunities to leverage the firm’s security products and technologies appropriately to meet client needs. Analyze the development and maintenance of new client and prospect contacts and relationships while managing the market’s pipeline. Support marketing, intellectual capital development, operations, events, and logistics. This position is based out of the Mid-Atlantic region.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in technical professional service sales with an emphasis on Cybersecurity

-Experience with advisory consulting and business development activities

-Experience with leveraging complex sales tools, including CRM, contact management, opportunity tracking, and lead management, to compress sales and relationship development cycles

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

-Ability to thrive in a multi-threaded and fast-paced consulting environment
-Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in a similar role with a system integrator or management consultancy in commercial market selling advanced capabilities

-Experience in the biopharmaceutical or specialty chemicals industry

-Experience with executing market strategies for relationship development and market growth

-Experience with supporting sales to senior executives

-Experience with proposal efforts to effectively position, engage, and close business for technical and professional services

-Ability to grasp cross-functional subject matter, including people, processes, and technology aspects of change across multiple business units

-Ability to follow through and achieve results

-Possession of excellent organizational skills, including supporting others who are less organized

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MBA or MS degree a plus

-CISSP or CISM Certification preferred
