Cybersecurity Technical Manager

Key Role:

Support an account management team to engage clients, lead solutioning to conceptualize, design, and build secure, efficient, and operationally viable Cybersecurity solutions, including applications, systems, architectures, and infrastructure and oversee the delivery of a portfolio of engagements across multiple clients. Leverage appropriate security products and technologies to protect client systems and information and enable achievement of client objectives. Design and manage innovative integration of Cybersecurity toolsets to enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities to improve security posture while reducing reliance on manual and labor-intensive options. Oversee the analysis of emerging technologies and design and build solutions to enable secure implementation of new technologies. Lead multi-workstream projects, including critical activities such as delivery assurance, risk identification and management, maintaining and expanding client relationships, and project team leadership, mentorship, and development. Maintain responsibility for analyzing budget and project finances and maintaining overall awareness of the project's financial health and risk mitigation for successful project execution. This position requires travel of up to 75%.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience as a technical consultant leading security project delivery teams with private sector clients

-5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity consulting

-Experience with information security program frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, and NIST

-Ability to drive the identification and implementation of security solutions

-Ability to provide strategic direction for core enterprise infrastructure and security-supported technologies, including data protection elements, such as DLP, tokenization, encryption, perimeter protection, such as firewalls, WAF, SIEM, and IPS/IDS, managed security services, and Cloud services security

-Ability to lead fast-paced delivery in challenging commercial environments, work with senior leaders to foster positive client relationships, identify new business opportunities with existing clients, and develop new intellectual capital

-Ability to build excellent relationships with technology vendors and develop mutually beneficial partnerships

-Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

-BA or BS degree

-CISSP or CISM Certification required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with multiple market verticals, including financial services, healthcare, energy, consumer products, and high-tech

-Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise

-Experience with information security regulations or regulatory bodies, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, or GLBA

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of eGRC platforms

-Knowledge of various risk management frameworks, including NIST 800-30

-Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment

-Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets

-Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making, planning, organizational, and client facilitation skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including comprehension, conflict resolution, teamwork, and relationship building skills

-Possession of excellent client-ready oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree a plus
