Cyber Systems Engineer, Junior

As a cyber systems engineer on our team, you’ll engineer, design, test, and implement systems using your engineering and cyber expertise in support of the Navy’s Undersea Warfare Mission. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Undersea Warfare and Submarine Combat Systems Hardware and Software systems. This is your chance to develop your skills in systems engineering and cybersecurity while gaining mentoring and experience in engineering and technology consulting and leadership. You Have:

  • Knowledge of data networks and principles
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to develop technical solutions
  • Ability to develop technical documentation to support customer mission solutions
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) field by December 2021
  • Ability to obtain DoD IAT Level II Certification within 120 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in a professional work environment or internship
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with industry engineering and cybersecurity programs or projects
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including developing technical papers and presentations to communicate solutions to customers
  • Secret clearance
  • IAT Level I Certification
