Cross Domain Solutions Engineer

Key Role:

Support the development, synchronization, and management of cross domain technology, services provisioning, and investment planning across the DoD and intelligence community. Assess knowledge of industry best practices. Leverage benchmark data, and published security standards to support cross domains solutions. Participate in community outreach activities and lead the analysis and assessment of cross domain technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with developing, implementing, integrating, maintaining, and evaluating security engineering and security architecture for IT enterprise architectures
  • 3 years of experience with Red Hat Linux
  • Experience with Oracle Solaris with Trusted Extensions, including UNIX
  • Experience with working in the intelligence community
  • Experience with cross-domain solutions
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the cross-domain solutions approval process for security implementations
  • Experience with developing technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance requirements cards (MRC)

  • Experience with installing Radiant Mercury software

  • Ability to use troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and analytical expertise to overcome networking, system, hardware, configuration, filtering, scripting, and setup issues

  • BA or BS degree in Computer Engineering, CS, EE, Information Systems, or IT preferred
