As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design and test maritime navigation software and systems in support of US Navy sponsors. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize fleet navigation systems and shipboard design. You’ll develop your skills in shipboard electronic equipment design while gaining experience in Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) service support across the firm. You Have:
-3+ years of experience with ruggedized electronics, chassis, housing, or cabinet mechanical design considerations, including systems or equipment support and test and evaluation support for C4ISR requirements
-1 year of experience with technical support for US DoD shipboard electronic equipment design, including shock, vibration, structure-borne noise, and heat transfer or dissipation
-Ability to troubleshoot navigation equipment problems and develop and document analyses and results
-Secret clearance
-BS degree in Mechanical Engineering

Nice If You Have:

-Knowledge of MGUE and its lead platforms or other current navigation systems and the related C4ISR platforms they integrate with a plus

-Knowledge of systems engineering processes and tools, including model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) considerations

-Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with peers, senior government officials, and other contractors

-Ability to provide innovative solutions to warfighters

-DoD 8570.01-M IA Level 2 Cybersecurity Workforce Certification
