Information Security Solution Integrator, Lead

The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture—you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber architecture skills to lead the design and development of secure systems for the nuclear side of Department of Energy (DoE)? We’re looking for an architect who can create solutions for the DoE that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a lead security solutions architect at Booz Allen, you’ll balance security and operational requirements to design and implement defense in depth architecture solutions. You will get to analyze user needs and requirements to plan architectures, coordinate work with mission, Cyber operations, and IT stakeholders, to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate the defined needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll guide the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and [business or mission] needs.

This is a chance to influence a team to make a difference in the security. You’ll oversee efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint-based detection, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, advanced analytics, and threat hunting. You’ll broaden your skillset into areas like security integration challenges between Operational Technology Networks, including Industrial Control Systems and Enterprise IT networks while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
