Launch Control System Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Participate in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of policies, processes, and systems related to Launch Control Systems in Navy aircraft. Perform operational, scientific, or technical systems analysis and reporting. Assess system operation and performance and plans and develop and conduct training and evaluation with aviation crew members. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Solve complex information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgment, operational experience, and proven analytic practices. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results. Fly onboard Naval aircraft and maintain qualifications outlined in Air Force aircrew policy guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with launch control systems aboard aircraft

-Experience as a previously qualified Instructor or Evaluator Launch Control System Operator

-Knowledge of National strategic command structure and relationships

-Ability to obtain and maintain a Flying Class III physical

-Ability to be certified under the DoD Personnel Reliability Program (PRP)

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with aviation training processes, methods, and policy guidelines

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree
