Agile Coach, Lead

Key Role:

Drive transformation across the organization by leveraging frameworks, including Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Work to drive the adoption of the Agile mentality through Lean Portfolio Management, Agile delivery knowledge, and Agile life cycle management tools, while coaching and mentoring team members. Lead multiple Agile Release Trains from end-to-end and deliver SAFe training and workshops, including leading SAFe, SAFe for Teams, SAFe PO and PM, and Values Stream Identification. Help to bring standard methodologies into the organization and partner closely with senior leadership to establish lean Agile routines and practices that transform the organization to run Agile at scale, integration and continuous development, DevOps, and automation. Lead discussions with team leads and management while keeping the collective team focused and tracking commitments, pace, and quality. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Agilist, leading Agile transformations as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach

  • Experience with coaching, mentoring, and advising technology leaders through a sophisticated Agile transformation

  • Experience with designing and executing enterprise organizational transformation frameworks

  • Experience with Atlassian Suite, including JIRA and Confluence, building out leadership dashboards, and pulling data from JIRA

  • Knowledge of Application Life Cycle and Agile Management tools

  • Ability to lead discussions with executives, team leads, and leaders within the organization on Agile topics

  • Ability to travel CONUS up to 50% of the time

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Agile Certification, including PMI, CSM, CAL, or ICAgile Certification, Scrum Master Certification, or Agile Coach Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with leading Agile transformation efforts and working collaboratively to establish or incrementally improve large solution Agile processes

  • Experience with supporting IC or DoD Acquisition Category or Business Category programs

  • Experience with working in a team environment

  • Experience working with senior executive leaders in a fast-paced environment

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • SPC 5.0 or higher Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
