The Opportunity:
Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. As a database administrator who specializes in Data Analysis, Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Servers and Database management, with a background in Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure, you know how to manage and secure Cloud-based database technology.
On our team, you’ll create, configure, provision, and maintain Microsoft Azure SQL Servers and Databases, including support patching, auditing, and resource performance troubleshooting requests. You'll create, manage, and maintain data flow solutions for data reporting, integration, and migration systems. You’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you assist with implementing policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. You’ll use technology and tools, including Azure Monitoring, Dynatrace, and SQL scripting to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database. In this role, you’ll closely impact healthcare by transforming the healthcare experience across many different user segments, veterans, providers, and administrative staff. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we’ll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Work with us as we improve database technology to change healthcare for the better. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:
Experience with Microsoft SQL Servers and Databases, Azure Cloud Infrastructure, SSIS and SSRS, SQL/T-SQL Scripting, Data Integration, and Migration
Knowledge of SQL Server Database backup, recovery, security, and networking
Ability to identify, analyze, and define database processes improvement opportunities
Ability to configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, databases, and processes for high level of performance, availability, and security
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Xrmtoolbox, Power Automate, FetchXML, KingswaySoft Integration toolkit, Dynatrace, and Microsoft Dynamics 365
Ability to create and provision Azure Storage accounts
Ability to create and update Power BI reports
SQL Server DBA Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.EEO Commitment
