.NET Developer, Senior

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build transformative applications from vision to production-ready system.  This role is more than just coding. We need a .NET developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates.

On our team, you’ll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices, domain driven design, n-tier, etc.  Using .NET technologies and Agile lifecycle development, you’ll build and sustain vital applications for the Veterans Administration. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.  This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a .NET software developer or software engineer 

  • Experience with .Net, Web App Server, ASP .NET MVCS, and MS SQL Server 

  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence 

  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools

  • Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications  

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or 9+ years of experience with .NET software development or software engineer in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in the Federal Government, Veterans Affairs, or Healthcare IT sectors 

  • Experience with Azure and specific experience with Web App Server IIS 8.5, .NET 4.5.2, and MS SQL Server 2016 

  • Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs including SOAP, REST, or RPC 

  • Knowledge of 508 compliance requirements and knowledge of Agile frameworks 

  • SAFe Certifications

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $91,400 - $186,700 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $96,000 - $220,600 (annualized USD)
