Solution Architect

As a Solutions Architect on our team, you'll translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by providing architectural oversight and guidance to our development team in the areas of modern software development using DevSecOps, ETL, system integration, data architecture, automation and data analytics. You will also function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. Through your leadership, we’ll help modernize our clients' solutions for Health Informatics by enhancing and integrating systems, building software factories, and enabling enterprise data analytics. What do you do next in a career where you’ve reached this level? You mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow’s solutions architects. As a technical leader, you’ll shape the Health DevSecOps business and identify opportunities for growth. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in working with software systems architecture, design, development, and implementation including systems engineering
  • 2+ years of experience with MUMPS development and overseeing DevSecOps processes and implementation of supporting technologies
  • Experience in analyzing systems and requirements to build technical roadmaps and an architectural runway for the team to follow and working with multiple program office and stakeholder needs simultaneously
  • Experience with interpreting policy- and regulatory-based requirements and translating those into architectural enhancements and system backlog items
  • Experience with analyzing system dependencies and coordinating technical workstreams, code branches, automated releases and user impacts through architectural runways and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with multiple design patterns and rearchitecting to more modern architectures, including RESTful API’s  
  • Experience with leading Systems Modernization including architecture, design, and implementation with 24/7 mission critical production systems 
  • Experience in architecting and implementing for a multi-system environment to create an overall platform with Agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with VistA in the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Experience with technical leadership of multiple development teams, multiple stakeholders, and development timelines. Oversight of activities, processes, and deliverables
  • Experience with GitHub and the Atlassian Suite

Final salary will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 110,000 to 175,000.
