Job Description
Key Role:
Apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects. Perform basic activities to assist in the manufacturing and assembly of various products per established facility processes, including set-up, calibration, testing, maintenance, and production operation. Perform varied tasks using standard policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job to complete assignments. Work under general supervision, complete routine work without instruction, and follow general instructions for new assignments. Collaborate with a production team and serve as informal lead for less experienced teammates.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with quality control inspections in a manufacturing environment using tools, including meters, gauges, computers, and calipers
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in a quality assurance role
- Knowledge of inspections of received, in-process, first article, and final mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies
- Ability to produce detailed inspection reports
- Ability to develop inspection and test approaches for parts produced in-house and items and materials received from third party vendors
- Ability to maintain accurate data and documentation for all non-conformances
- Ability to collaborate with the production team, shipping and receiving, engineers, project managers, and quality assurance to resolve quality issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience supporting quality assurance and control programs for military systems
- Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or Note 5000 Quality Management Systems
- Experience participating in material review boards and related documentation
- Experience performing inspections of electrical assemblies
- Knowledge of using computers, including using Microsoft Office
- Ability to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities
- Secret clearance
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $45,300.00 to $93,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
