Naval Acquisition Advisor, Senior

Key Role:

Provide senior strategic leadership in the delivery of customer requirements and the development of market-focused initiatives. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision; mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience with Naval Aviation
  • Experience in NMC Program Offices with leadership roles spanning all elements of operations
  • Knowledge of DoD operating principles and operations
  • Knowledge of innovative technical approaches for rapid client delivery
  • Ability to lead people, interface with senior leadership, and drive new business in the DoD market space
  • Ability to apply technical innovation and unique acquisition approaches to solve challenging problems
  • Active Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of unique acquisition approaches, including alternative contract vehicles and OTAs
  • Ability to drive market engagement and work capture and shaping efforts to secure new work within the market
  • Top Secret clearance
  • MA or MS degree
  • PMP Certification
