Mechanical Engineer, Junior

Key Role:

Perform routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. Conduct routine analyses and tests pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials or processes. Complete required documentation and may provide recommendations as needed. This position requires the employee to work at one of the Booz Allen offices or client sites within the U.S. to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications: 

-Experience with working in a team environment 

-Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems 

-Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, or assembly 

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

-Ability to obtain a security clearance 

-Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Spring 2023 

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

-Experience as an intern, support contractor, government staff, or industry staff

-Ability to gather and analyze data effectively 

-Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems 

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills 

-Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
