Database Administrator, Senior

As a database administrator you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring of multiple databases. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the database technology supporting National Law Enforcement. 

On our team, you’ll help develop, configure, execute expansion, redundancy, and security plans and contribute and manage data loading, data integrity, and data performance to ensure the security and integrity of the database.  

In this role, you’ll be providing mission critical supporting, ensuring continuity of law enforcement capabilities. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we’ll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:   

·       2+ years of experience with performing database administration for MS SQL Servers 

·       Experience with performing daily and recurring operations, maintenance, management, and troubleshooting of databases in an environment supporting a large user base and large databases

·       Experience with creating, modifying, and performance tuning stored procedures, functions, and views

·       Experience with using MS SQL and third-party tools to analyze and optimize the databases and database interfaces

·       Experience with data loading, external interfaces, and coupling of MS SQL to Microsoft .NET for applications, including Web Applications, Services, and WPF

·       Top Secret clearance

·       Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
