Job Description
Key Role:
Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering expertise to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. Maintain responsibility for assisting more senior positions or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with supporting projects and systems developed under the DoD acquisition programs conducting engineering and technical reviews
- Experience with supporting the design, development, and review of engineering design artifacts, including requirements analysis, interface design, system architecture development, and system performance analysis
- Experience with engineering development and acquisition efforts
- Knowledge of the systems engineering life cycle
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office, TEAMS and Sharepoint
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience with supporting engineering analysis of acquisition products
- Knowledge of DoD Service platforms, command and control systems, weapons, sensors, and electronic warfare systems
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
