Operational Planning Analyst

Key Role:

Support a Department of the Navy (DON) organization with strategic planning, policy, doctrine, and program support. Apply subject matter expertise and assistance to the support and development of DoD and Service Component policies. Conduct analyses and make recommendations for high-priority implementation and planning efforts involving joint, interagency, and multinational actors for full-spectrum traditional military and cyberspace-based operations. Support Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), counterintelligence, Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE), offensive operations, defensive operations, and DoD Information Network (DoDIN) operations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with providing support and development of Department of the Navy (DON) policies
  • 3+ years of experience with providing support and development of DoD or Service Component policies, including full-spectrum traditional military and cyberspace-based operations
  • 3+ years of experience with ISR, counterintelligence, Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE), offensive operations, defensive operations, and DoD Information Network (DoDIN) operations
  • 3+ years of experience with providing functional and contextual guidance in the implementation of various intelligence disciplines, ISR systems and platforms, and multidiscipline intelligence processes, including Cryptology, Intelligence and Electronic Warfare (IEW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Measurements and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT), All-Source Intelligence Analysis, and Counter-Threat (CT), Counterintelligence (CI), intelligence systems development and maintenance, or Law Enforcement (LE) analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Graduate of Foreign CI Training or Source Operations Training
  • Graduate of DoD or Federal CI Law Enforcement (FLETC) Badge and Credentialing School
  • Graduate of Foreign CI Training or Source Operations Training

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
