Operational Strategist/Desk Officer

Key Role:

Support a DoD agency's organization with strategic planning, policy, doctrine, and program support. Provide subject matter expert assistance for the support and development of DoD Service Component policies. Conduct analyses and recommendations for high-priority implementation and planning efforts involving joint, interagency, and multinational stakeholders for full-spectrum traditional military and cyberspace-based operations. Support Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Counterintelligence, Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE), offensive operations, defensive operations, and DoD Information Network (DoDIN) operations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with providing support for the development of DoD military policies
  • 3+ years of experience with conducting analyses and providing recommendations for implementation and planning efforts for DoD operations and policy
  • 3+ years of experience with providing functional and contextual guidance in the implementation of various intelligence disciplines, including ISR systems and platforms, multi discipline intelligence processes, Cryptology, Intelligence and Electronic Warfare (IEW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Measurements and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT), All-Source Intelligence Analysis, and Counter-Threat (CT), Counterintelligence (CI), intelligence systems development and maintenance or Law Enforcement (LE) analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Graduate of Foreign CI Training or Source Operations Training
  • Graduate of DoD or Federal CI Law Enforcement (FLETC) Badge and Credentialing School

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
