Systems Administrator

Key Role:

Support the design, installation, testing, and sustainment of MCIOC communication nodes, automated systems, and associated equipment, including the DoD Trusted Workstation (DTW) on JWICS. Identify and notify appropriate offices of system problems and assist with the design, installation, and maintenance of equipment and associated hardware and software to extend and enhance existing services. Establish new user accounts, configure laptops, and configure, adjust, and maintain commercial cell phone assets and remote email services. Arrange and coordinate with hardware maintenance personnel for repairs of network IT equipment, troubleshoot software and hardware problems for domain users, and assist in the maintenance of the Configuration Baseline command workstations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Systems Administration or IT Help Desk support
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in IT help desk support or systems administration; Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in IT help desk support or systems administration; or Bachelor's degree
  • Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the DoD JWICS network
  • Experience with the Marine Air and Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Regional Area Network
  • Ability to provide proof of 40+ hours of training in Microsoft server and desktop environments

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
