Declassification Specialist, Junior

Key Role: 

Serve as a declassification analyst for a DoD client’s security and program protection team. Perform automatic declassification analysis of client holdings. Review technical documents to determine the current disposition status of material, including exclude, exempt, refer, or declassify. Conduct research on historical ballistic missile defense programs and consult external agency declassification guides to refer documents to the correct government agencies. Verify correct classification markings, including recording caveats and updating any incorrect classification markings, as needed. Document details and findings of review into specified databases. Use specialized security expertise to solve client problems. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Basic Qualifications:
-Knowledge of engineering and technical design data of weapon systems
-Ability to analyze technical documents effectively
-Ability to apply government formatting regulations to technical document review
-Ability to be detail-oriented during analyses
-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree or 4+ years of experience as an intelligence or security analyst for the DoD

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD security procedures
-Experience with Microsoft Access
-TS/SCI clearance
 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
