Biological Analyst

As a Biological Analyst you will analyze and develop products for the client focused on the biological environment using your analytic capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be informing leaders through structured research using multiple sources and analytic tool suites.  You will deliver products that increase the client's understanding and comprehension of the biological environment. To do this, you will prioritize and categorize requests for support, and conduct short-long term analyses. You will directly support embedded teammates; answer requests for support from customers and work closely with the senior analysts to develop high-quality products.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience providing intelligence analysis for DoD or an intelligence agency in an analyst role, including multi-intelligence production

  • 2+ years of experience with DoD and IC All-Source analysis tools, collecting and analyzing information in support of DoD or other government organizations, or managing analytic production

  • 1+ year of experience with network analysis

  • Experience with network analysis tools

  • Experience with using geospatial tools including ArcGIS and Google Earth

  • Experience with Intel-related databases

  • Ability to use MS Office, Excel, and big-data analytic techniques for structured and unstructured data

  • Ability to work rotating shifts as needed, including nights and weekends

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Epidemiology, or Public Health or 5+ years of experience in the biological field or with lab work


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth

  • Knowledge of advanced internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine, and database resources, and Internet sources

  • Master's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Epidemiology or Public Health preferred; Doctorate degree in Biology, Microbiology, Epidemiology or Public Health


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
