Systems Administrator

The Challenge:

We're looking for a systems administrator who specializes in providing hardware and software break/fix end-user support and who is customer-oriented with a solid background in Windows 10, Active Directory, and Remedy. Help us support and troubleshoot IT assets, including workstations, printers, and monitors across the DoD and war-fighter community.

As a systems administrator on our project, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and non-functioning IT assets and software, ensuring that the customer issues are resolved. Additionally, you'll work to resolve tickets and projects while constantly focusing on customer support and satisfaction. You'll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in break/fix repair, project management, and troubleshooting. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Tier I or Tier II Service Desk Support role using Active Directory and BMC Remedy Ticketing system
  • Ability to provide advanced support, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Operating System (OS) or Microsoft Office issues
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a high paced classified environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with escalating to or working alongside Network Operations, Desktop Engineering, and Systems Engineering teams
  • Experience in imaging workstations and IT assets and working with SCCM
  • Experience with planning, working or implementing complex projects or tasks
  • Ability to create SOPs
  • AA or AS degree or higher preferred
  • Computing Environment (CE) OS or Security-related Tool or Device Certifications
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+, Microsoft (MCP), or other related industry Certifications

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
