Scientific Software and Data Integration Analyst

Key Role:

Leverage expertise of the analysis process for performance, procedures, and processes of complex health systems to improve both efficiency and effectiveness and address priority operational challenges. Advise on the delivery of operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve operational excellence, quality, and safety. Utilize a spectrum of operational environments across the provider, payer, research, life science, and public health segments. Provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience as a business systems analyst, documenting business requirements, performing requirements analysis, and translating into design specifications

-2+ years of experience with collecting, cleaning, storing, and analyzing data sets, including epidemiology, statistics, and data science

-Experience in engaging with clients to capture and prioritize business needs

-Ability to be articulate and persuade with an enthusiastic knack for excellent storytelling

-Ability to explain advanced concepts to team members, users, and clients

-Ability to travel between client site and local firm offices periodically

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting Agile or systems development life cycle (SDLC) processes

-Experience with application life cycle management tools

-Experience with writing application life cycle documentation

-Experience with training end users, writing user guides, and job aids and conducting user acceptance testing

-Experience with presenting material to senior division, program, and government officials

-Knowledge of general UI and UX principals

-Knowledge of electronic health records software and environmental health and safety software

-Ability to work independently and address ad-hoc challenges

-Ability to show perseverance, innovation, creativity, resilience, hardiness, inquisitiveness, adaptability or flexibility, ambiguity tolerance, detail-orientation, self-confidence, and an excellent work ethic

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

-MS or PhD degree in Life Sciences
