Network Administrator

Key Role:

Analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms, including e-mail, file transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing. Configure systems to the user environment. Support the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services. Act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership to team members, as needed. This position allows for remote delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with managing sophisticated computer networks

-3+ years of experience with network architecture and deployment

-Experience with hands-on network equipment work, including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, firewalls, servers, and transmission media

-Experience with network systems design

-Experience with local area and wide area networking principles and concepts, including bandwidth management

-Ability to deliver technical solutions and company capabilities collaboratively

-Ability to travel up to 70% of the time

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with systems engineering and Air Force DCGS or C4ISR systems

-Experience with the military and comprehension of military infrastructure and organization

-Knowledge of network standards, protocols, security, and applications

-Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

-CCNP Certification
