SELinux Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Collaborate with a team of creative problem solvers to test and evaluate systems for a government client supporting an Air Force client. Perform SELinux analysis on cross-domain solutions, multi-level security (MLS), and multi-category security (MCS) policies. Assist team members by analyzing the creation of potential exploits from vulnerabilities found within the SELinux policy. Build capabilities by learning from others' expertise within a diversely skilled team. This position is located in Rome, NY.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

-1+ years of experience with SELinux analysis or development

-Experience with the Linux command line, including traversing the directory structure, editing files, grep, and view processes and services

-Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Ruby, and Bash

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with scripting languages

-Experience with Python and various standard libraries

-Knowledge of various methods of inter-process communication (IPC), including message queues, FIFO and named pipes, and shared memory

-Ability to harden Linux environment with native tools to government STIG compliance standards

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree
-CEH, CISSP, CASP, RedHat CSA, GPEN, or similar Certifications
