Survey Methodologist, Senior

Key Role:

Lead survey refinement and analyses activities for an HHS client. Develop a survey analysis plan and detailed report summarizing findings. Lead a team of analysts, recommend refinements to the survey instrument, and test the addition of new survey questions. Analyze and interpret data in a statistically rigorous, detail-oriented manner and serve as a technical advisor to the client, stakeholders, and other members of the project team, as needed.

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with testing, designing, and administering surveys
  • 5+ years of experience with analyzing qualitative and quantitative survey data
  • Experience with population data
  • Knowledge of CMS and ACA legislation
  • MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services or other government agencies, including the U.S. Census Bureau on survey design and implementation preferred
  • Ability to discuss and make recommendations on health plan assessment
  • Ability to lead a team of analysts within a fast-paced, and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to the DC Metro area
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • PhD degree in Statistics or Psychology
