Cognitive Performance Coach, Senior

Key Role:

Apply expertise in the areas of rhetoric, composition, creative writing, performance psychology, counseling, or kinesiology to conduct research across functional areas, including cognitive enhancement and accelerated learning, instructor development and training, tactical training, holistic human performance training, curriculum development technology and software development and research, and program evaluation and assessment. Analyze and identify needs and provide viable interventions, including training and performance support. Analyze the development of research procedures. Use simulation technology and biofeedback to promote excellence and efficiency during physical, technical, and tactical training challenges of combat operations or pressure situations. Gather data and compile information into documents regarding sport psychology and leverage expertise in cognitive enhancement training techniques. Apply expertise in the subject matter, including applying industry best practices for operational and functional physical fitness from military and professional sports to the development of training and other technology-based learning solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with creative writing, psychology, counseling, or kinesiology, including an emphasis in sport and performance psychology

-Experience with rhetoric, composition, creative writing, psychology, or English research

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree in English, Rhetoric, or Creative Writing

Additional Qualifications:

-TS/SCI clearance

-PhD degree in Rhetoric, Composition, Creative Writing, or English

-Graduate of the Army’s Master Resilience Training Course
