Configuration Management Specialist

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to help design and configure aviation training platforms in support of DoD flight training solutions. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize flight systems utilizing virtual and immersive systems. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • Experience with identifying, planning, implementing, and executing configuration solutions, performing periodic audits, and managing and providing verification of version release configuration items

  • Experience with developing and maintaining Configuration Management (CM) process standards and plans, and analyzing procedures

  • Experience with managing changes in process while ensuring methods and processes are properly approved, communicated, and managed throughout the CM process

  • Experience in planning, evaluating, directing, tracking, analyzing, and coordinating CM activities on large and complex programs or projects

  • Ability to describe and document issues for different audiences, managers, system engineers, and administrators

  • Ability to prepare and present briefings and communications between engineering disciplines

  • Secret clearance

  • HS Diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working on CM related aviation Experience including managing CM for complex engineering projects

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Configuration Management Training Foundation certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $65,000 - $132,900 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $68,200 - $157,000 (annualized USD)
