Contracts Administrator, Lead

The Opportunity:

As a contracts administrator, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your advanced contract management expertise to our Aerospace Contracts team where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable team member who finds creative solutions to complex problems.

As a contracts administrator on our team, you’ll use your contract administration, negotiation, or proposal support. knowledge to capture, implement, and manage a diverse range of proposals and contracts within the Aerospace market. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies.

As a trusted business partner, you’ll lead the negotiation and administration of contracts with the United States government and large and small prime contractors across a breadth of contract types. You’ll also use your negotiation, strategizing and collaboration expertise to administer, analyze and develop a wide variety of contract types and agreements, as well as assist in development of organizational Conflict of Interest plans.

You Have:  

  • Experience with negotiating and administering contracts, customer relations, and internal stakeholder communications

  • Experience with cost plus contracts, including contracts for software development life cycle, digital solutions, and other IT services associated with customized software and COTS and GOTS solutions

  • Experience with all contract types, including fixed price, T&M, cost reimbursable

  • Experience negotiating with industry partners, including non-disclosure and teaming agreement negotiations

  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and contracting terms and conditions designed to reasonably bound risk

  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS

  • Ability to successfully support a high visibility, quick paced, high-volume, diverse workload

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in contract administrations roles or 9+ years of experience in a contract administration role in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Masters degree and 7+ years of experience in contract administration roles
