DevOps Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

As a DevOps engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience in DevOps and CI/CD while developing software that will improve national security. You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience with operating in a DevSecOps environment

  • Experience with leading a team to deliver services to customers

  • Knowledge of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

  • Ability to program using Python and Java to write scalable code

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, including Ansible, Kubernetes, or SaltStack

  • Experience with developing client relationships and trust leading to DevSecOps growth

  • Experience with Docker

  • Knowledge of the Air Force Cyber Mission Platform

  • Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams, and multi-task on multiple products and projects

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
