Qualified Pilot Management Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as an experienced qualified pilot subject matter expert to bring in-depth expertise in Air Force Aviation readiness processes, and culture to a government led multi-functional team (MFT). Provide enterprise systems engineering analysis and recommendations for an advanced pilot trainer aircraft program, ensuring capability gaps are mitigated along with an on-time mission deployment. Employ subject matter expertise to provide program strategy, performance analysis, and technical and operational assessments to rapidly increase USAF pilot production capabilities via USAF initiatives. This position is open to temporary remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a USAF qualified and rated pilot, including T-38 Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) or Graduate Fighter time
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, and project control phases of projects or acquisitions using established processes and procedures
  • Experience with analyzing complex problems, researching and synthesizing data, and proposing unique solutions or alternatives across multiple complex tasks in multiple organizations
  • Experience as a recognized expert in strategic planning, systems alignment, organizational assessment, process improvement, facilitation, and decision support services
  • Experience with providing expert advice and assistance for an agency’s mission‐oriented functions
  • Experience with producing and reviewing of technical documentation reflecting expertise in technical areas
  • Knowledge with concepts of Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) and Flying Operations, AFI 11-102 Flying Hour Program Management
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or Social Science
  • Completion of 2000 total hours or a combination of 1300 hours as a primary, instructor, or evaluator pilot time

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with acquisitions
  • Secret clearance
  • MA or MS degree
