Anti-Submarine Warfare Weapons Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Observe and support at-sea firings of weapons in naval exercises. Extract weapon firing data from all available sources. Reconstruct weapon firing data to formulate accurate assessments of weapon performance, surface combatant or air delivery attack proficiency, and surface combatant evasion tactics. Communicate exercise results, orally and in written format, to representatives of naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices. Assist in providing insight during ad hoc weapons meetings, workshops, and conferences

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience within Navy ship, submarine, aircraft operations and warfare tasks specifically including exercise weapons firings
  • 3+ years of experience planning exercise activities on Navy training ranges
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing the results of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) weapons firings
  • Ability to prepare briefings, reports, and correspondence that are technically correct
  • Ability to analytically solve complex problems
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
