Atlassian Solutions Developer, Mid

Key Role:

Plan, architect, design, and build Atlassian Jira and Confluence environments. Create custom projects in Atlassian tool suite for complex workflows, reports, and permission requirements to meet business needs. Administer Jira software and integrate with other Atlassian tools and external applications. Work with analysts and customers to derive requirements for use cases or scenarios and recognize opportunities for improvement for business processes. Determine ways to problem solve, analyze, and develop solutions based on customer interviews and data. Create and maintain Jira and Confluence collaboration sites, including Kanban boards, Scrum boards, and documentation pages. Design, develop, implement, and support software enhancements or new functionality by translating business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverages Atlassian tools.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Java or Groovy development

-2+ years of experience in an operations environment

-1+ years of experience with developing custom workflows in Jira

-1+ years of experience with building custom reports and dashboards using Atlassian tools

-Experience with the Atlassian product suite of tools, including Jira and Confluence

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-IAT Level II Security Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with REST API concepts and implementation

-Experience with *NIX engineering

-Experience with authoring custom Atlassian Plugins preferred

-Experience with complex information systems analysis

-Knowledge of Atlassian SDK and plugin development

-Knowledge of JSON, XML, and YAML data structures

-Knowledge of System or Digital Engineering tools, processes, and standards preferred

-BS degree in CS, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
