Class Tactical Publication Manager, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a class tactical publication manger at a Surface Navy training organization. Review and update Navy tactical publications and directives, draft papers and presentations related to tactical development, assess and analyze current program and organizational capabilities related to tactical publication development, and track publication projects from conception to approval and distribution. Attend mission area related Navy, Joint, and Combined seminars, conferences, and other meeting forums and provide feedback and recommendations. Interface with cognizant warfare development organizations to update the Navy Doctrine Library (NDL). Work in coordination with Fleet offices to identify operational requirements and cooperate with Fleet Training agents and program resource sponsors to determine improvements necessary to meet Fleet Wholeness and readiness objectives.     

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with using, reviewing, or developing Navy Tactical Publications
  • Experience as a US Navy Officer or Senior Enlisted personnel
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphics development software, including Adobe Photoshop
  • Navy Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist or Surface Warfare Officer Qualification
  • BA or BS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
