Cloud Program Management Support Specialist, Mid

The Challenge:

We have the technology, but do we know how to use it? In an industry where “Cloud” is sometimes synonymous with “genie,” it’s important to have someone on your team who knows how to integrate  Cloud-based solutions programs and projects at all stages of the program lifecycle. That’s why we need you, a cloud and program management expert who knows how hardware and software components fit together and integrate with Cloud-based resources, to help us modernize Naval systems.

As Cloud program management support with expertise in Cloud technologies on our team, you’ll straddle both program management and technical consultant work to help Navy programs integrate Cloud capabilities and services to meet technical requirements while simultaneously identifying the budgetary, programmatic, and acquisition requirements necessary for supporting and sustaining program capabilities. You will be supporting the integration of commercial Cloud capabilities in a manner that supports a Navy client's future vision. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment, policies, and knowledge of various Cloud-based and hybrid resources available at all classification levels. You’ll work with the government acquisition manager, government assistant program managers, development team, and DevOps engineers to inform acquisition strategies and architecture design. This is an opportunity to stay on top of the latest Cloud resources available to the Navy and serve as the primary program resource, interacting with all key stakeholders seeking to provide programmatic support for Cloud integration. You’ll provide program updates and training on Cloud policies and program initiatives seeking to support the Navy’s ‘Cloud First’ policy. You’ll be able to gain experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other Cloud-based technologies while developing critical systems for Navy customers. You Have:

-3+ years of experience with software development or Cloud architecture

-3+ years of experience with providing programmatic or acquisition support to ACAT programs of any level, including abbreviated acquisition programs or projects

-Knowledge of Navy Cloud policy and existing Cloud resources, including Commercial Cloud Services (C2S), Gov-Cloud, or Navy Cloud Brokerage

-Knowledge of the service offerings and applications of Cloud service providers across Amazon, Microsoft, or IBM

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Knowledge of government Cloud domains and security enclaves a plus

-Top Secret clearance

-PMP Certification
