Database Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Implement and maintain one or more complex databases. Implement procedures to control access and allocation of data and maintain security controls. Maintain database definitions and documentation. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments. Solve a diverse range of complex problems, working with limited direction. Interface with internal and external customers and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, or Ruby
  • 1+ years of experience with optimizing table structures and queries for PostgreSQL
  • 1+ years of experience with Java or Python, Linux, SQL, or Splunk Search (SPL) languages
  • 1+ years of experience with Continuous Development/Integration software, including Jenkins, GIT CI, Docker, or Maven
  • 1+ years of experience with evaluating services and products provided by COTS/GOTS vendors and providing recommendations
  • 1+ years of experience with version control systems
  • Knowledge of the data structures and design of highly available systems
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree
  • Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IAT level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with designing enterprise architecture
