Logistics Analyst, Mid

Key Role:
Analyze the development and implementation of logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance supply support at a littoral combat ship Mission Module Readiness Center (MMRC). Conduct distribution and network support, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates. Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports. Coordinate logistics activities with internal or external customers. Work independently or with minimum supervision while conferring a with superior on unusual matters.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Navy supply operations

-Experience with providing integrated product and logistic support services

-Experience with performing research, generating management reports, providing analysis, and leveraging various Navy supply systems and programs

-Knowledge of established Navy supply procedures

-Ability to travel to other MMRCs both CONUS and OCONUS

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with operating government and rented vehicles, including material handling equipment, cargo trucks, forklifts, and golf carts

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

-Possession of excellent oral and written skills to enable support and participate in various maintenance and supply working groups for process improvements

-Completion of Navy Supply Management training 

Clearance:
