Software Engineer, Junior

The Challenge:

As a software engineer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for an engineer with the skills needed to build applications from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a software engineer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, and identify needed system improvements. You’ll work with the development team to build applications and systems. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to develop technical solutions
  • Ability to develop technical documentation to support customer mission solutions
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in a technical field by June 2021
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE or IAT Level II Certification within 120 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in a professional work environment or internship
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with industry software development programs or projects
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including developing technical papers and presentations to communicate solutions to customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Pursuing a BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred; pursuing a MS degree in Engineering or a related technical field a plus
  • Security+ CE or IAT Level II Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
