Key Role:

Generate plans that effectively and safely employ submarines in exercises. Validate submarine tactics for exercise scenarios. Observe and collect data logs of submarines participating in exercises. Use pertinent data to reconstruct submarine tracks and tactical actions. Assess the performance of submarine sensors, systems, weapons, and countermeasures as they relate to specific objectives to be analyzed during exercises.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in naval submarine operations and warfare tasks
• 3+ years of experience with planning exercise activities including submarines
• Experience with briefing and debriefing submarine crews on exercise event plans and mission results
• Experience with Navy submarine data collection, mission data extraction, and post mission analysis
• Ability to prepare briefings, reports, and correspondence that are technically correct
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
