As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to contribute to the Navy’s mission by supporting tasks in the areas of systems engineering, design, integration, testing, and fielding for a portfolio of undersea surveillance systems. Your customer will trust you to ensure proper engineering rigor and life cycle supportability as you coordinate and evaluate engineering modifications to legacy systems and new system designs, as well as support system documentation, delivery, verification, and maintenance efforts.
On our team, you’ll broaden your skillset into areas like mechanical and electrical systems, sensor technologies, and computing systems to support a broad spectrum of systems engineering tasking for clients. Your technical expertise and project management skills will be vital as you support existing systems sustainment and contribute to the acquisition and development of next-generation sensor, processing, and C4I systems to support the Navy’s mission. You Have:
- 6+ years of experience in the Navy or supporting Navy Systems Command, Acquisition, or Integration programs
- 6+ years of experience with systems engineering or engineering of military systems
- Experience with developing and evaluating system requirements and design documentation
- Experience conducting systems engineering processes and technical reviews
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary field with multiple customers, stakeholders, and experts
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD, Solidworks
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, IT, Physics, or Mathematics
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Navy shipboard installation and maintenance activities
- Experience developing system architectures and interface control documents
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with technical project management
- Knowledge of acoustic analysis and sonar theory
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- lNCOSE Systems Engineering Certifications, including CSEP or ASEP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
