Defense Acquisition Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex and highly sensitive systems, policies, processes and instrumentation related to foreign threats and homeland security. Determine the procedure for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform and direct scientific and technical intelligence analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results. Provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as an enlisted or officer crew member on an aerial refueling aircraft

-Experience with requirements management and development

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with program office preferred

-Experience with the Air Mobility Command mission preferred

-Knowledge of Air Force Acquisition systems preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance preferred

-BS degree in a science or an engineering field preferred; MS degree in a science or an engineering field a plus

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
