Strategic Communications Specialist

Key Role:

Create, design, and write complex publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal or external audiences. Interview subject matter experts and develop an original approach for each story line. Assist with analyzing editorial or departmental standards, as needed. Edit the work of or provide guidance and direction to junior staff, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with communicating market strategies and company messaging

-Knowledge of transformation change within an organization

-Ability to communicate and work with all levels of an organization

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the client's Air Force base preferred

-Experience with the mission of the client's command

-Knowledge of strategic communications processes, tools, and methodologies that can be employed to build and support a culture of change

-Active Secret clearance preferred
