CWMD Joint Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Apply subject matter expertise in strategic planning, counterproliferation, and pathway defeat to a Joint DoD client, including planning support and assessments to more effectively synchronize and integrate DoD and Joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational JIIM capabilities into the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) mission. Apply expertise in planning support and assessments to multiple Joint CWMD operation plans (OPLANs) and contingency plans (CONPLANs), regional expertise in the Pacific area of operations, working groups, and theater-level problem-solving. Support and integrate DoD, interagency, and allied partner capabilities in armistice, crisis, and war.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience with strategic planning
  • 8+ years of experience with military-level operational planning, including developing and advising on matters regarding CWMD and Joint warfighting
  • 1+ years of experience with Pacific area of operations planning
  • Experience with the DoD Joint Publication 3-40 CWMD mission, the joint planning process, and time-phased force and deployment data (TPFDD)
  • Knowledge of CWMD policies, strategic guidance, and technologies at the national level
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with major Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) exercise design and support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Completion of DoD CWMD Service School or Training
