Agile Test Engineer

Key Role:

Provide day-to-day software test and quality assurance support to diverse development teams. Leverage known software test methodologies and procedures to ensure project teams deliver digital solutions that meet quality standards, contractual commitments, published specifications, usability and coding standards, and common sense. Act as the final word on quality, including reviewing functional specifications and documentation, analyzing the development of test documentation, such as test cases, scripts, and reports, performing functional verification of software, and reporting on the health of solutions. Be a significant contributor to defining project requirements, determining technical approaches to satisfy expectations, and establishing development approaches to migrate capabilities from concept to execution to assist with the program's significant efforts towards software modernization and data science analytical development.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Agile development environments, including Jira

-Experience with software testing, test methodology, test execution, and report generation

-Experience with exploratory engineering skills, including software testing, system design or engineering, or enterprise architecture development

-Experience in the intelligence community (IC)

-Knowledge of software design and coding concepts and hardware and operating systems

-Ability to conceive of design, build, test, and deploy options that support the definition of technical trade offs along the capability development life cycle with an emphasis on testing or requirements engineering

-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-BA or BS degree

-Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with hands on software development preferred

-Experience with using Splunk as a reporting tool

-Experience with testing SaaS/PaaS/Cloud/Web based applications

-Experience with multi-threaded, big Data, distributed Cloud architectures and frameworks, including Hadoop, MapReduce, and Cloudera

-Experience with AWS or Azure

-Experience in ource code control experience with a distributed SCM, such as Git

-Experience as a senior systems administrator

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-MS degree in CS or Systems Engineering

-CISSP Certification
