Data Analyst/Collection Manager

As an analyst, you can use your language and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. As an analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their operational landscape. You’ll gain an understanding of various collection platforms as you explore new data sources, craft effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), open source intelligence (OSINT), measurement and signature intelligence (MASINT), and open source. You’ll learn how to validate information and apply client tradecraft as you help build assessments for senior policy makers. You will become the authority on your topic, so your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to define your expertise and develop new skills and share your skills with other analysts. You Have:

-3+ years of experience as a GEOINT collection manager

-Experience with collection management, including analyzing current collection strategies and proposing recommendations for optimizing collection
-Experience with automating and streamlining processes
-Knowledge of the imagery
Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) process and imagery requirements life cycle

-Knowledge of querying data repositories using a user interface or query language
-Ability to manipulate numerical data for analysis in Microsoft Excel, create visual aids and graphics used in presenting analytical briefings using Microsoft PowerPoint or Tableau, and use ArcGIS or other GISCOTs software for basic spatial analysis
-Ability to work independently
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

 

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with automating and streamlining processes
-Experience with analyzing large sets of data using standard predictive and data mining techniques

-Experience with developing metrics

-Knowledge of SQL or an equivalent database language or how to apply scripting languages, including Python to extract data from a database
-Knowledge of GEOINT sources and their technical capabilities

-BA or BS degree in a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
