GEOINT Foreign Language Enabled Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Design, develop, and execute solutions in support of intelligence organizations, missions, and processes. Apply specific functional knowledge to develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing new expertise in emerging technologies regarding open source or publicly-available information, including social media, web searches, big data analysis, and bulk data harvesting
  • Experience with applying expertise in critical thinking, including geospatial thinking, to develop and execute effective research plans
  • Knowledge of geography, cartography, or map reading and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including ArcGIS, Google Earth, or GeoMedia PRO
  • Ability to demonstrate Chinese language proficiency at a DLPT IV level 2/2 or equivalent, including ILR-2
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience with conducting open source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination, or AA or AS degree and 2+ years of experience with conducting open source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination, or BA or BS degree and 1+ years of experience with conducting open source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with planning, prioritizing, and managing assignments in a timely manner
  • Experience with creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements
  • Experience with the TCPED process
  • Knowledge of DoD and intelligence community missions
  • Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases
  • Possession of excellent oral and written skills, including demonstrating effective communication through demonstration of GEOINT techniques, methodologies, concepts, or processes
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
