Key Role:

Work with a team of spectral scientists to develop ground truth experiment objectives and translate into test plans. Plan, lead, and execute ground truth collection experiments in the field and in office settings. Serve as a test director during collaborative ground truth tests. Operate spectrometers and data collection instruments to meet test objectives, as needed. Leverage expertise with chemical processes and phenomenology associated with chemical reactions. Apply remote sensing principles and methods to analyze data and solve problems. Develop new sensor systems, analytical techniques, or new applications for existing systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with spectral remote sensing, image science, and data collection
• Experience with programming in MATLAB and developing tools in ENVI or IDL
• TS/SCI clearance
• BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

• BA or BS Degree in Image Science, Remote Sensing, or Physics preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

Clearance:
